'Flow around a heated cylinder in channel  is widely spread in the field of chemical engineering

This page contains the 2D simulation of fluid flow around a cylinder(radius=0.1 unit) in a channel  of length 1.5 and height of 1.0 units. The cylinder is  at x = 1.0 & y =0.5 . The calculation starts from rest. The flow is observed with the Reynolds number 1000. These simulations are part of a Software-Praktikum at the University of Dortmund in 2004.
