'Flow around a heated cylinder in channel is widely spread in the field of chemical engineering

This page contains the 2D simulation of fluid flow around a cylinder(radius=0.1)in a channel of length 2.0 and height of 1.0 units. The cylinder is located at x=1.6 and y=0.5. The calculation starts from rest. The flow is observed with the Reynolds number 1000. This simulation is part of a Software-Praktikum at the University of Dortmund in 2004.
